Sevilla FC D records a convincing victory in their home debut

Juvenil D played their second league fixture on 27 September against Pablo VI, in what was their first home game of the season at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios. Rafa Ortega’s side came into the match after a 0-4 victory over UD Morón CF on the opening matchday, looking to build on their positive start to the campaign.

The match got underway with an early warning from the visiting side, who were awarded a penalty in the opening minutes. However, the effort went wide of the post. Following this early scare, the Sevilla side reacted and began to showcase their attacking threat, creating several chances in front of goal.

In the 11th minute, Pedro Marun opened the scoring for the Nervion side after receiving an assist from Eduardo Expósito. The Dutch forward found the net again in the 34th minute, completing his brace after another assist from Expósito.

Juvenil D continued to control the game for the remainder of the first half and continued to create chances. Eduardo Expósito had an opportunity in the 41st minute to extend the lead, but was unable to convert. The home side therefore went into the break with a 2-0 lead and nine chances created, reflecting their attacking dominance.

After the restart, Rafa Ortega’s side maintained their intensity and continued to look for a third goal. In the 62nd minute, Javier Geniz extended the lead with a set-piece goal. Just a few minutes later, Roberto Bernárdez scored the fourth after receiving an assist from Pedro Marun.

In the closing stages, Juvenil D completed the victory with two further goals from Alfonso Recio, who found the net in the 89th and 92nd minutes, setting the final score at 6-0.

With this result, Juvenil D have secured their second consecutive league victory, making a perfect start to the campaign with two wins, two clean sheets and ten goals scored across the opening two matchdays.

Yongin FC U17 completes an international training week with Sevilla FC

Yongin FC U17 enjoyed a week-long international training experience with Sevilla FC. From September 15 to 22, the South Korean delegation took part in the Players Academy programme, experiencing a comprehensive sporting and educational schedule in Seville.

During their stay, the players took part in morning training sessions alongside Sevilla FC Academy coaches, gaining first-hand insight into the club’s training methodology and the daily work of its youth teams.

The experience also included several friendly matches against Sevilla FC Juvenil C and Sevilla D, with the latter providing an opportunity to share the pitch with the international players involved in the High Performance Career Program.

Beyond training sessions and competition, the delegation also had the opportunity to enjoy one of the highlights of their stay in Seville: attending the match between Sevilla FC and FC Barcelona, experiencing professional football at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.

An experience also for goalkeeper coaches.

The educational experience was not limited to the players. The two goalkeeper coaches accompanying the delegation also took advantage of their stay to complete an internship with Sevilla FC’s Goalkeeping Department.

Throughout these days, they gained first-hand insight into the specialised work carried out with the club’s academy goalkeepers, exchanged knowledge with the department’s coaches and observed different training sessions.

In this way, Yongin FC U17’s visit provided an international educational experience for both players and coaches, combining methodology, competition, knowledge exchange and an insight into Sevilla FC’s sporting structure.

A week in which football became a meeting point between South Korea and Seville, strengthening the international dimension of the club’s training programmes.

Sevilla FC “D” secure another emphatic victory over Ciudad Jardín (5-0)

Sevilla FC “D” continued their strong start to the season. On September 27, the Nervion-based side welcomed Ciudad Jardín to the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios for the second matchday of the league campaign. Following a convincing victory away from home in their opening fixture, the team once again demonstrated their attacking quality and defensive solidity to secure another three points.

Both teams came into the fixture having won their opening league match. There was also a recent preseason meeting between the two sides, which ended in a 2-0 victory for Sevilla FC “D”.

The referee got the match underway and the home side immediately showed their intentions. In the opening minute, Sevilla created a clear opportunity to take the lead, setting the tone for an attacking first half.

In the 14th minute, David Castro found Estefan Mario with a precise pass in behind the defence, leaving the forward in a good position to finish and make it 1-0.

Ciudad Jardín responded three minutes later with a clear opportunity against Bob Almenas, although they were unable to find the back of the net. The game then settled into a more even spell, with neither side creating any major chances until the 37th minute, when David Castro came close to doubling the lead, only for the visiting goalkeeper to make an excellent save.

Just before half-time, in the 43rd minute, Estefan Mario found the back of the net again. The forward connected with a well-delivered cross from Juan María Hinojosa to complete his brace and send Sevilla into the break with a 2-0 lead.

After the restart, Sevilla FC “D” increased their attacking pressure and created five chances during the opening 15 minutes of the second half. Their persistence was rewarded with a third goal, scored by Sebastian Fineman, who took advantage of an excellent ball played in behind the defence by Cédric Bischoff to extend Sevilla’s advantage.

In the closing stages, David Castro capped off an impressive performance by scoring Sevilla’s fourth goal in the 82nd minute, finishing another attacking move inside the box. In the final minutes, Sebastian Fineman converted a penalty to make it 5-0 and complete his own brace.

With this result, Sevilla FC “D” secured their second victory in their opening two league matches, maintaining their perfect record and recording another clean sheet. The Nervion-based side have now scored 15 goals across their first two league fixtures, underlining their strong start to the season.

High Performance Program secures 3-0 victory over Yongin FC

Players from the High Performance Career Program took part in a friendly match against Yongin FC’s youth team last Tuesday, September 22, with the game being played at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios and ending in a 3-0 victory for the Sevilla side.

The match began with opportunities for both teams. The Sevilla side created the first chance of the game, although the Korean team quickly responded by creating danger of their own. In the 11th minute, Yongin FC had a clear one-on-one opportunity, but Dutch goalkeeper Naut produced an excellent save to keep the score level.

The opening goal arrived in the 23rd minute. Dominic Gorea tried his luck with a powerful effort from outside the box that struck the crossbar. Cédric Bischoff reacted quickest to the rebound and put the Sevilla side ahead.

Yongin FC continued to create chances after the opening goal, but Sevilla FC found the net again before half-time. In the 39th minute, Monsalve delivered a cross into the box which was headed home by Polish player Piotr Szymański, doubling the Sevilla side’s advantage.

After the break, the High Performance Career Program maintained its intensity and extended its lead once again. In the 52nd minute, Áron Nemeth scored the third goal after receiving a pass from Cédric Bischoff inside the box.

The Korean side looked to reduce the deficit and came close in the 68th minute, when their forward saw his effort go just wide of the post. However, the scoreline would remain unchanged until the final whistle.

The High Performance Career Program therefore closed the match with a 3-0 victory over Yongin FC, adding another competitive experience to the players’ development and football education in Seville.

Juvenil D begin their Andalusian Third division campaign with a victory

Sevilla FC Juvenil D began their new chapter in Tercera RFAF this Sunday, September 20, with a victory against UD Morón CF. The Sevilla side travelled to the Complejo Deportivo Alameda for their first official match of the season following a pre-season campaign in which the team produced positive performances and won the Almensilla Triangular.

Rafa Ortega’s side entered this new challenge after securing direct promotion last season. Throughout pre-season, Juvenil D continued to develop their playing style and showed clear signs of progress, which carried over into their league opener.

The opening stages were closely contested, although Sevilla FC gradually began to establish a greater presence in the opposition half. In the 24th minute, Pedro Marun gave the visitors the lead from the penalty spot, making it 0-1.

Following the opening goal, Juvenil D maintained their organisation and successfully dealt with the home side’s attacking threat, while also creating opportunities to extend their advantage. In the 45th minute, UD Morón CF were reduced to ten men after a defender was sent off for a foul on Pedro Marun, who was through on goal as the last defender.

After the interval, Sevilla FC continued to control the match. Alejandro Ayala came close to doubling the lead with an effort from outside the box, which was well saved by the home goalkeeper, as the visitors continued to search for a second goal.

That second goal arrived in the 62nd minute. Alejandro Ruiz connected with a volley that went over the goalkeeper and into the net to make it 0-2. Sevilla continued to apply pressure when UD Morón attempted to build from the back, and their efforts were rewarded in the 77th minute when Alfonso Recio capitalised on a turnover following a strong pressing sequence to score the third.

In the closing stages, Pedro Marun found the net once again to complete his brace and seal the final 0-4 scoreline. The goal came after an assist from Dominic Gorea, who registered two assists on his first official appearance for Juvenil D.

Sevilla FC Juvenil D therefore begin their Tercera RFAF campaign with three points and an away victory, continuing the work carried out during pre-season and building on the team’s development following last season’s promotion.

Sevilla FC D open the league campaign with a convincing win in Coripe

Sevilla FC D began their league campaign this Sunday, September 20, with a convincing victory against Coripe CF. Óscar Olomo’s side travelled to the Campo Municipal Manolín Cuevas, where they secured a 0-10 win in a match that reflected the positive feelings built up throughout pre-season.

The team had shown clear progress during their preparation period, consolidating their playing style and developing a strong structure both offensively and defensively. Those positive performances carried over into the opening minutes of their first official league fixture.

Borja Tellado, one of the team captains, opened the scoring in the early stages of the match, finding the net following a throw-in close to the penalty area to make it 0-1. Sevilla FC D continued to take the initiative and soon found another goal. Juan María Hinojosa played a through ball into the path of Sergio Domínguez, who found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and calmly finished to double the visitors’ advantage.

The third goal arrived in the 12th minute. David Castro received the ball on the edge of the box and unleashed a powerful left-footed strike into the far corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance. With the score at 0-3 before the quarter-hour mark, Sevilla FC D continued to control the game.

From the penalty spot, Álvaro Perea converted to make it 0-4. Before half-time, Rafa Castillo capitalised on a defensive error to score Sevilla’s fifth, sending the team into the break with a commanding advantage.

The visitors continued to control proceedings, remaining solid defensively and clinical in front of goal. David Castro found the net again early in the second half, completing his brace after meeting a cross from Israel Bernal.

The seventh goal arrived in the 53rd minute through Estefan Mario, before Sebastián Fineman scored an impressive goal in the 73rd minute to extend Sevilla FC D’s lead even further.

In the closing stages, Piotr Szymański scored his first goal for Sevilla FC D after receiving an assist from Fineman. Then, with the final action of the match, Estefan Mario completed the scoring at 0-10 after winning possession and finishing a fine individual move.

Isaac Ortega joins Sevilla FC Juvenil D

Isaac Ortega joins Sevilla FC Juvenil D for the 2026/27 season. The holding midfielder, born in Ecuador and raised in Puerto Rico from the age of six, arrives at the club to continue his development as a footballer and take on a new challenge in his career.

The player joins from Rayo Ciudad Alcobendas, where he was part of the Juvenil B Nacional team. His time there was affected by an injury that prevented him from competing with the team, and he now begins a new opportunity to continue developing in football.

Ortega also has experience in the United States, where he played for the Dallas Cowboys in 2023, completing a season with the American side.

On the pitch, Isaac describes himself as a defender with the ability to anticipate plays, while also highlighting his strength in duels and his aggressive approach when defending.

The new Sevilla FC player will work under the guidance of Rafa Ortega, head coach of Juvenil D, with the aim of continuing his development during this new chapter. Among his main objectives are to keep growing as both a player and a person, as well as enjoying the season alongside his new teammates.

With his arrival at Juvenil D, Isaac Ortega begins a new chapter in his career and joins the Sevilla FC High-Performance Career Program project for the 2026/27 season.

Sevilla FC Academy takes part in the Riso International Cup in Turin

The Sevilla FC Academy took part last weekend, from September 11 to 13, in the Riso International Cup held in Turin, Italy. The Sevilla FC Academy U12 B team had the opportunity to participate in an event that brought together different Italian and European academies, providing the young footballers with a competitive and social environment alongside players from different countries.

The tournament featured academies from clubs of recognized prestige, including Sassuolo, Genoa, Fiorentina, Torino and Brescia, as well as international teams such as Panathinaikos and Vitória Guimarães, among others.

During the tournament, the Sevilla FC Academy U12 B team faced the academies of Spezia, Juventus and Nottingham Forest, playing three matches that allowed the players to experience different competitive environments and come up against different methodologies and playing styles from those they are accustomed to.

Beyond the results, these types of experiences represent an opportunity to continue the players’ development process. Competing against academies from different countries allows the players to adapt to new situations, discover different ways of understanding football and put into practice the concepts they have worked on throughout the season in a different environment.

The experience also had an important educational and personal component. Sharing days of competition with teams from other countries encourages values such as respect, teamwork, social interaction and adaptability, all of which form part of the holistic development that the Sevilla FC Academy seeks to promote among its players.

Taking part in this tournament in Turin therefore represents another international experience for the Sevilla FC Academy and an opportunity for its young footballers to continue growing both on and off the pitch, gaining experiences that contribute to their sporting and personal development.

Ben Khamishon continues his journey at the University of Redlands

Ben Khamishon continues to progress in his sporting career after joining University of Redlands, in California, United States. The American footballer takes another step forward in his career after completing an impressive season with Sevilla FC Juvenil “D”, as part of the High Performance Career Program.

Khamishon joined Sevilla FC to strengthen the defence of Juvenil “D”, becoming part of a team coached by Rafa Ortega that enjoyed an outstanding season. The Sevilla side were crowned league champions and finished the campaign unbeaten, recording 26 wins and two draws, while scoring 183 goals and conceding just 19.

Throughout the season, Ben established himself as one of the team’s standout centre-backs, showing defensive solidity, an ability to compete in duels and good decision-making when playing out from the back. His performances were also reflected in the attacking department, where he recorded two goals and two assists over the course of the season. Among his standout performances was a match in which he scored twice in a convincing 15-0 victory.

His performances within the Sevilla FC structure have now allowed him to take the next step in his development, returning to the United States to continue combining academic and competitive development.

At University of Redlands, Khamishon will be part of the Bulldogs, who compete in NCAA Division III and are members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). The institution offers a university model in which academic and sporting development form an integral part of the student-athlete experience.

The defender has already begun his new chapter with the Californian side. Wearing the number 27 shirt, Ben Khamishon is part of the University of Redlands roster for the 2026 season, taking his first steps in American college soccer.

Sevilla FC D close pre-season with victory in the Charneca Memorial

Sevilla FC D brought their pre-season to a close with a victory over CD Burguillos (1-3) in the IV Charneca Memorial Trophy, held last Saturday, September 12, in memory of Francisco Charneca.

The match, which kicked off at 8:30 p.m., saw Sevilla FC D take the initiative from the opening stages, with the team looking to make an impact in attack. It did not take long for Óscar Olomo’s side to find the breakthrough, as David Castro opened the scoring after just a few minutes. The forward took advantage of a superb through ball from Álvaro Perea, who set up his teammate with a backheel to put him in an excellent position.

The second goal arrived in the 21st minute. This time, Álvaro Perea found the back of the net after connecting with a cross from the flank to double Sevilla FC D’s advantage.

With the score at 0-2, both sides had chances before the break. The clearest opportunity to extend the lead fell to David Castro, but the CD Burguillos goalkeeper produced an excellent save to keep the home side within reach.

After the restart, the home team looked to step up their attacking efforts and created a couple of opportunities during the opening stages of the second half, although neither resulted in significant danger for the Sevilla FC D goal.

Sevilla FC D continued to control the game, and the third goal arrived in the 60th minute. Sergio Domínguez completed the scoring for the visitors after finding space at the far post and converting the ball that came his way.

CD Burguillos pulled one back in the 75th minute through a free-kick scored by their number 10. The goal led to an open final stage, with both teams creating further chances, although neither side was able to find the net again.

The final whistle confirmed a 1-3 victory for Sevilla FC D, bringing their pre-season campaign to an end on a special evening marked by the IV Charneca Memorial Trophy and the memory of Francisco Charneca.

The Sevilla FC D side now enter the final stage of their preparation ahead of the start of the official season.

Cédric Bischoff joins Sevilla FC D

Sevilla FC D has added Cédric Bischoff to its squad, with the Swiss footballer joining the club’s youth development structure through the High Performance Career Program to begin a new chapter in his sporting career.

Bischoff arrives at Sevilla FC after spending last season in England, where he was part of the Steven Gerrard Academy in Liverpool. Previously, the Swiss player developed in his home country, spending time within the structures of FC Thun and FC Breitenrain, a club competing in the third tier of Swiss football.

During the previous campaign, Bischoff made a significant contribution in the attacking phase, recording five goals and eleven assists. These numbers reflect his ability to contribute to the team’s collective play and create opportunities for his teammates.

On the pitch, the new Sevilla FC player stands out for his ability in one-on-one defensive situations, as well as his physical strength and communication. He also brings a strong work ethic and the ability to contribute to chance creation, allowing him to make an impact in different phases of the game.

His move to Seville represents the continuation of a development process that has seen him compete in different football environments and now take on a new experience within the Sevilla FC structure.
