Sevilla FC D open the league campaign with a convincing win in Coripe

Sevilla FC D began their league campaign this Sunday, September 20, with a convincing victory against Coripe CF. Óscar Olomo’s side travelled to the Campo Municipal Manolín Cuevas, where they secured a 0-10 win in a match that reflected the positive feelings built up throughout pre-season.

The team had shown clear progress during their preparation period, consolidating their playing style and developing a strong structure both offensively and defensively. Those positive performances carried over into the opening minutes of their first official league fixture.

Borja Tellado, one of the team captains, opened the scoring in the early stages of the match, finding the net following a throw-in close to the penalty area to make it 0-1. Sevilla FC D continued to take the initiative and soon found another goal. Juan María Hinojosa played a through ball into the path of Sergio Domínguez, who found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and calmly finished to double the visitors’ advantage.

The third goal arrived in the 12th minute. David Castro received the ball on the edge of the box and unleashed a powerful left-footed strike into the far corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance. With the score at 0-3 before the quarter-hour mark, Sevilla FC D continued to control the game.

From the penalty spot, Álvaro Perea converted to make it 0-4. Before half-time, Rafa Castillo capitalised on a defensive error to score Sevilla’s fifth, sending the team into the break with a commanding advantage.

David Castro found the net again early in the second half, completing his brace after meeting a cross from Israel Bernal.

The seventh goal arrived in the 53rd minute through Estefan Mario, before Sebastián Fineman scored an impressive goal in the 73rd minute to extend Sevilla FC D’s lead even further.

In the closing stages, Piotr Szymański scored his first goal for Sevilla FC D after receiving an assist from Fineman. Then, with the final action of the match, Estefan Mario completed the scoring at 0-10 after winning possession and finishing a fine individual move.

Sevilla FC D therefore begin their league campaign with three points, ten goals scored and a clean sheet, building on the positive signs shown during pre-season and making a strong start to the season.
