Nacho González Signs Contract Extension

Since joining the club, Nacho has consistently demonstrated that he embodies the values of Sevilla FC. His work ethic, sense of responsibility, and daily commitment have made him one of the most respected figures in the dressing room, playing a key role both on and off the pitch.

Last season represented one of the greatest challenges of his football career. A serious injury sustained at the beginning of the campaign kept him sidelined for much of the season, preventing him from competing with the consistency he had hoped for. However, rather than distancing himself from the team, Nacho approached his rehabilitation with exemplary professionalism, supporting the squad in every training session and every match, demonstrating his leadership from the sidelines and becoming a constant source of encouragement for both the coaching staff and his teammates. His commitment throughout this period perfectly reflected the values that define Sevilla FC: hard work, perseverance, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging.

In addition to his defensive qualities, Nacho brings the ability to contribute in attack, an excellent understanding of the game, and extensive experience within the Sevilla FC structure—qualities that will continue to be invaluable to the development of Sevilla FC D. With his recovery now well advanced and his focus firmly set on the new season, Nacho begins this new chapter with great enthusiasm and the determination to once again enjoy football at the highest level.

We’re Bringing Our Methodology to California: Summer Camp with AC Brea

Just a few weeks ago we signed our strategic partnership with AC Brea Soccer Club, a leading youth soccer organization in Orange County. Now we’re taking it onto the field.

From August 3 to 5, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Brea Sports Park becomes an extension of our training ground in Sevilla. Three days. Sevilla FC coaches arriving directly from Spain. The same methodology we work with every single day at our Ciudad Deportiva: positional play, speed of play, decision-making under pressure, technical repetition and mastery, small-sided tactical scenarios, and transition behaviors. With dedicated goalkeeper sessions. Open to boys and girls ages 8 to 18, all skill levels welcome.

The Summer Soccer Spoke Spanish

The United States has just lived its World Cup. And the trophy has traveled to Spain, after the July 19 final in New Jersey.

That’s no accident. Behind that title there’s a school of thought: a way of understanding the game, of developing players from the ground up, of teaching them to decide with the ball. That school is ours. What arrives in Brea this August isn’t just another summer camp. It’s direct access to the methodology of a country that is once again the global benchmark in player development.

A milestone that means something special to us at Sevilla FC: the coach who led Spain to that title, Luis de la Fuente, was forged in our own academy — where he coached a generation that included Sergio Ramos and Jesús Navas.

American Talent, Sevilla Identity

This connection didn’t start today. Last season, nearly twenty American players were part of our academy. Two of them Californians: Ben Khamison, who earned promotion with our Juvenil D side, and Gavyn Nobles.

More and more often, we get to enjoy the talent that crosses the Atlantic and finds a home to grow here in Sevilla. With this camp, we’re reversing the journey: this time, we’re the ones going to California.

The United States, All Year Round

This camp opens a cycle. Our presence in the United States doesn’t end in August. Our partnership with AC Brea includes ongoing methodological support for their coaching staff and a development pathway for their players, running throughout 2027.

We want to be part of the growth of American soccer by contributing what we do best: developing people and players with the Sevilla FC stamp.

Sevilla FC Academy continues its international expansion with the signing of a strategic partnership with AC Brea Soccer Club, one of the leading youth soccer organizations in Orange County, California (USA).

The agreement represents a strategic milestone for both organizations, positioning Sevilla FC Academy as AC Brea’s official methodological partner. Our technical staff will work closely with the California club to enhance its sporting structure through an ongoing consultancy service covering training methodology, playing philosophy, player development, and coaching education.

The partnership also creates a dedicated development pathway for AC Brea’s coaches and players, providing access to the expertise of one of Europe’s most respected academies—one that has developed Spanish and world football legends such as Sergio Ramos and Jesús Navas.

A Partnership with an American Focus

For Sevilla FC Academy, this agreement marks another step in the international growth of the Sevilla FC brand. It enables us to share and further refine our player development methodology while strengthening our presence in the rapidly expanding U.S. soccer landscape. Last season alone, Sevilla FC’s academy included nearly twenty American players, including two Californians: Ben Khamison, who earned promotion with the U19 D team, and Gavyn Nobles.

The United States is experiencing an exciting period of growth in soccer. We are committed to being part of that journey by contributing what we do best: developing people and players under the Sevilla FC philosophy, supported by the proven success of Spanish football, a global benchmark in player development and talent identification.

Two Unforgettable Weeks at Our Sevilla FC Training Camps

The summer they will never forget has become a reality. More than 120 boys and girls aged 5 to 14 joined us for two unforgettable weeks at the Sevilla FC Training Camps, held from June 29 to July 10 at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground.

Over the course of ten days, our young participants trained every morning using Sevilla FC’s official methodology under the guidance of coaches from the club’s technical staff. Small training groups, individual attention, and an elite environment—including thirteen football pitches, high-performance gyms, and constant supervision from qualified coaches—provided the perfect setting for learning and development.

But our Training Camps are about much more than football. They’re also about creating unforgettable experiences. During the first week, participants enjoyed a day at Guadalpark, while the second week featured an exciting visit to Isla Mágica. Tournaments, water activities, workshops, and indoor sports complemented the football program, creating an atmosphere where sport and friendship went hand in hand.

One of this year’s major new features was an enhanced innovation program, with dedicated digital literacy workshops delivered by specialists in artificial intelligence, coding, and creative technology. Guided by professionals from the Sevilla FC Innovation Center, participants even designed, developed, and launched their own video game.

The finale was a fitting celebration of twenty years of history. On Thursday, first-team players visited our young footballers, sharing photos, autographs, and words of encouragement they will remember for years to come. Then, on Friday, a dream became reality as the camp concluded with a training session and closing ceremony at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, giving participants the unforgettable opportunity to step onto the same pitch as their heroes.

Twenty years after the first edition, we remain committed to the same mission: developing footballers, but above all, developing people. With ambition, discipline, and character. Because true success is never given—it is earned every single day.

Thank you to all the families who placed their trust in us. We look forward to welcoming you back next summer for another edition of our Training Camps.

Before then, however, we head to California this August for the international edition of our Training Camp.

Never Surrender.

Fabián Rodríguez extends his stay with Sevilla FC D for another season through the High Performance Career Program

The player highlights the progress he has made at Sevilla FC Academy and looks ahead to the new season with the ambition of continuing to improve and helping the team earn promotion.

Sevilla FC continues to strengthen the development of international young talents with the renewal of Fabián Rodríguez, who will remain with Sevilla FC D for the 2026/27 season as part of the High Performance Career Program.

A Puerto Rican left-back, Fabián is set to begin his third season at the Club after two years in which he has experienced significant growth, both on and off the pitch.

The player believes that one of the program’s greatest strengths has been the all-round development it has provided throughout his time in Seville.

“What I like most about the High Performance Career Program is the friends I’ve made, the growth I’ve experienced, the opportunities I’ve been given, and how I’ve been able to develop both as a person and as a football player.”

He also encourages young players who may be considering joining the program to take the opportunity, recalling his own experience before arriving in Seville.

“If someone is unsure about coming here, I’d tell them to do it. I was also undecided at one point, but I think it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”

Looking ahead to next season, Fabián aims to continue improving both as a footballer and as a person, while strengthening his role within the squad and contributing to the team’s collective ambitions.

“My goals for next season are to keep growing, not only as a football player but also as a person, to make more friends, and to become a stronger teammate. As a team, our objective is to earn promotion.”

With this renewal, Sevilla FC once again reinforces its commitment to the comprehensive development of its international players, providing a high-performance environment that combines sporting, academic, and personal development to prepare them for the challenges of the future.

First week of Training Camps wraps up in style

Performance students focused on individual improvement, pushing themselves every day in the gym and on the pitch. Training Camp students took a different but equally valid approach: improving, having fun and combining it with other activities. Two paths, one shared excitement.

Technology also had its place. Through our Innovation Center, participants took programming classes tailored to each age group, learning to build a video game from scratch, among other things. Innovation is also part of our cantera.

Between training sessions, there was time for chess, cards and other board and traditional games. Strategy, logical thinking and teamwork, all through fun. Football activity was rounded out with multi-sport exercises at our climate-controlled functional assessment center. And as the highlight of the week: a visit to Guadalpark, a refreshing day where the water added even more fun for our students.

Friday marked the farewell for those attending only the first week. But the adventure continues: the second and final week of Training Camps starts next Monday, and a few spots are still available depending on age.
