Áron Németh renews with Sevilla FC D and will continue his development in the High Performance Career Program

Arriving from Hungarian side Főnix Gold FC, from the city of Székesfehérvár, Áron Németh joined Sevilla FC’s Sevilla FC Youth Team after standing out in his country’s youth football system. In his final season in Hungary, he played 21 league matches, scoring 17 goals and providing 8 assists, as well as adding 3 goals and 3 assists in 4 cup appearances.

Sevilla FC have reached an agreement to renew Áron Németh’s contract, meaning he will remain linked to the club for another season, taking another step in his sporting development with his promotion to Sevilla FC D.

The Hungarian attacker enjoyed an outstanding campaign with Juvenil D, where he featured in 22 matches, recording 15 goals and 12 assists. These figures highlight his ability to create danger in the final third, as well as his influence on the team’s attacking play. In addition, the youth side completed an exceptional season without suffering a defeat and secured the league title.

Following his progression with Juvenil D, a team that competed in the Cuarta Andaluza Juvenil division, Németh makes the step up to Sevilla FC D, a side that competes in Tercera Andaluza Senior, where he already had the opportunity to take part in several matches last season under the guidance of Óscar Olomo.

With this renewal, Sevilla FC D adds a player with international potential, attacking flair, ability to combine with teammates and a notable instinct for scoring goals — qualities that will help strengthen the team’s attacking options.

The continuation of Áron Németh reinforces Sevilla FC’s commitment to developing international talent and its dedication to the comprehensive training of footballers within its academy structure, supporting the growth of young players with future potential.

Chimezie Obi Extends His Contract with Sevilla FC: The First Major Success Story of the High-Performance Programme for International Talent

Obi arrived in Seville in 2024 from Akpo, in Nigeria’s Anambra State, and made an impression from day one. Shortly afterwards, he joined our High-Performance Programme for International Talent, launched in July 2024 with a clear objective: to identify, develop and integrate promising young footballers from around the world into Sevilla FC’s methodology and values.

“It hasn’t been easy, but with determination, dedication and hard work, I can achieve anything I set my mind to,” says the striker, who acknowledges how much he has developed in Nervión. “I have learnt things here that I had never learnt before, particularly in the technical and tactical aspects of football.”

Óscar Olomo, his coach during his time with Sevilla FC D, played a key role in that development. “He always pushes me beyond my limits. When I make a mistake, he corrects me straight away so that I can learn from it. I will never forget him,” says Obi. The coach repeatedly instilled in him an idea that has now become part of his Sevilla DNA: “If you want to reach the top, you have to work hard and put the team first.” His development was taken to the next level a year later under David Arteaga and his Sevilla C coaching staff.

From following Sevilla FC in Nigeria and dreaming of players such as Lucas Ocampos to wearing our badge every weekend—that is Obi’s journey. It is also the purpose of our High-Performance Programme: to ensure that talent, wherever it comes from, can find in Seville the ideal place to grow.

Chimezie’s story has only just begun, and we will be by his side every step of the way.

Sevilla FC Academy strengthens its commitment to the United States for the 2026/2027 season

World football is looking to North America. And so is Sevilla FC Academy. That’s why, coinciding with the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, we at Sevilla FC Academy are announcing that the 2026/2027 season will mark the largest presence of our sporting projects on U.S. soil to date.

Starting this very summer, we will bring our official camps to cities across the United States. Thousands of boys and girls will train the way we train in our youth academy — with our methodology and our values. The will and the way. Dreaming big and working every day to earn it. We speak the same language, even if in two different tongues. But we won’t stop there. Our teams will cross the ocean to take part in various events, in response to the rising level of North American football.

American talent already wears red and white

The United States is not a new market for Sevilla FC Academy. It is already part of our present history. Today, more than 15 American players are part of our academy — and we expect many more to come. Young players who arrived with a dream and the determination to chase it every day. They couldn’t have chosen a better home: at our Academy, ambition is not an option. It’s a requirement.

That’s why we will keep backing the United States as a priority market. To grow together. To develop the footballers of tomorrow. To bring together two cultures that share what matters most: the conviction that the only limit is the one you set yourself.

NEVER SURRENDER.
