Sevilla FC Academy hosts two community days alongside CD Gévora at the Training Ground

During May 6 and 7, Sevilla FC Academy welcomed a total of 14 teams from the Extremaduran club to enjoy a formative and sporting experience at the club’s facilities. Both days featured several friendly matches across different age categories, promoting coexistence and interaction among players, coaches, and families.

On May 6, a total of six CD Gévora teams took part in an exciting day in which they were able to discover the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground firsthand and compete against Sevilla FC Academy teams in an atmosphere defined by respect, sportsmanship, and learning.

Likewise, on May 7, another eight teams from the club returned to Seville to continue enjoying this enriching experience, strengthening the ties between both institutions and promoting the core values represented by grassroots football.

Through initiatives such as these, Sevilla FC Academy continues to reinforce its commitment to the personal and sporting growth of young players through shared experiences both on and off the pitch.

Outstanding performance by Sevilla FC Academy at the San Roque Cup

Sevilla FC Academy delivered an excellent overall performance at the San Roque Cup, one of the most grassroots tournaments in Andalusia, reinforcing its developmental philosophy and competitive edge at early age levels.

The Bebé A side completed a flawless tournament, being crowned Gold Phase champions after a campaign defined by defensive solidity and attacking efficiency. The team recorded victories against Mosqueo (2-0), Doctor Fleming (1-0), Divina Pastora Sanluqueña (1-0) and San Roque (2-0), along with a goalless draw against La Mosca during the group stage.

In the निर्णायक stages, the team faced La Mosca once again and secured a commanding 3-0 victory in the final, capping off a tournament in which they stood out for their consistency and control in both boxes.

Meanwhile, the Prebenjamín team also produced a very strong showing, finishing in third place in the Gold Phase. They started the tournament convincingly with wins over Tiro Pichón (2-0), Arenas de Armilla (3-2) and Los Mares (1-0), as well as a draw against Atlético Villanueva (1-1).

In the final stage, the team maintained a competitive level with an emphatic 5-2 victory over La Barrera, although they fell 2-3 in their final match, a result that does not overshadow their overall strong performance.

Once again, Sevilla FC Academy demonstrated its strength in grassroots football, successfully combining player development and competitiveness in demanding environments, and consolidating its position as one of the leading academies in the region.

Sevilla FC Academy delivers an outstanding performance at the III Mundialito Tournament in Utrera

Sevilla FC Academy once again demonstrated the high standards of work within its youth structure after an outstanding showing at the III Mundialito Tournament in Utrera, a competition in which several Academy teams took part and achieved very positive results.

In the Bebé category, the Sevilla side delivered a strong performance, finishing as champions of the Silver Phase, showing enthusiasm, competitiveness and clear progress throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Prebenjamín team faced a demanding competition and competed with great character from the outset. After the opening matches against Estilo de Utrera and a hard-fought Silver Phase semifinal against Atlético Libertad, the team concluded its participation with a convincing 3-1 victory over Cabecense, securing third place in the Silver Phase.

In the Benjamín category, Sevilla FC Academy once again displayed a high competitive level, reaching the Gold Phase final and ending the tournament as runners-up after a consistent campaign.

The biggest sporting success came from the Alevín team, who were crowned Gold Phase champions after a flawless tournament. The Sevilla side progressed through the group stage with victories over C.D. San Fernando 1940 (0-3) and C.D. Puerto de la Línea (0-1), before defeating Dos Hermanas C.F. 0-3 in the semifinals. In the final, the team completed an excellent campaign with an emphatic 4-0 win over C.D. Utrera.

Beyond the results, Sevilla FC Academy’s participation in Utrera once again reflected the values that define the club: education, commitment, competitiveness and the all-round development of its young players. On February 26, Sevilla FC Academy held a new football development gathering at its facilities, welcoming JD Bormujos as the invited club. The event allowed players from both teams to enjoy what they love most, playing football while continuing to learn and improve their sporting skills.

Sevilla FC Academy’s Bebé crowned JD Cup Champions

The Sevilla FC Academy’s Bebé “A” team, coached by Álvaro Cabrera, delivered an outstanding performance last Friday, December 26, at the JD Cup, held at the Séneca CF ground. The tournament, played in a league format, ended with a perfect record for the Nervión-based side, who won all five matches they contested.

In addition to the team’s excellent collective performance, the tournament organization recognized the individual efforts of players Iván Ortiz and Mario Fuentes, who were both named to the competition’s Best 7.

Beyond the sporting results, participation in the JD Cup proved to be a highly enriching experience for the players’ overall development, allowing them to compete outside of Seville and continue their training process in line with the values and methodology of the Sevilla FC Academy.
