Sevilla FC Academy strengthens its commitment to the United States for the 2026/2027 season

World football is looking to North America. And so is Sevilla FC Academy. That’s why, coinciding with the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, we at Sevilla FC Academy are announcing that the 2026/2027 season will mark the largest presence of our sporting projects on U.S. soil to date.

Starting this very summer, we will bring our official camps to cities across the United States. Thousands of boys and girls will train the way we train in our youth academy — with our methodology and our values. The will and the way. Dreaming big and working every day to earn it. We speak the same language, even if in two different tongues. But we won’t stop there. Our teams will cross the ocean to take part in various events, in response to the rising level of North American football.

American talent already wears red and white

The United States is not a new market for Sevilla FC Academy. It is already part of our present history. Today, more than 15 American players are part of our academy — and we expect many more to come. Young players who arrived with a dream and the determination to chase it every day. They couldn’t have chosen a better home: at our Academy, ambition is not an option. It’s a requirement.

That’s why we will keep backing the United States as a priority market. To grow together. To develop the footballers of tomorrow. To bring together two cultures that share what matters most: the conviction that the only limit is the one you set yourself.

NEVER SURRENDER.

Juvenil “D” secure a commanding win and move within reach of the title

The Juvenil “D” approached matchday 26 as league leaders, facing Jorge Juan Ulloa in a fixture that represented a crucial step in the closing stages of the season. The team arrived in excellent form following their previous performance, with a clear objective of maintaining momentum and edging closer to the league title.

From the outset, the Sevilla side displayed a clear attacking intent. After an early chance from Lucas Serna, it was Ángel Torres who opened the scoring by converting a rebound. Just minutes later, Estefan Mario doubled the lead with an individual effort, underlining the team’s early dominance.

The team remained in control, creating multiple chances and extending their advantage before half-time, once again through Estefan Mario, to make it 3-0 at the break.

After the restart, the side took another step forward in terms of verticality and efficiency. The league’s top scorer, Alejandro Piña, added the fourth from a corner, before Ángel Torres struck from distance to further increase the lead.

In the final stages, Juvenil “D” maintained their attacking momentum. Raúl Martínez and Estefan Mario, who completed his hat-trick, added to the scoreline, before late goals from Raúl Martínez and Lucas Serna sealed a comprehensive 9-0 victory.

With this result, the team reaches 70 points, maintaining a strong lead at the top of the table. With one match remaining, Juvenil “D” will have the opportunity to secure the title in their next fixture against Estrella San Agustín, bringing an outstanding season to a successful conclusion.

Sevilla FC «D» falls to the league leader despite taking an early lead

It was Saudi international Abdullah Aljirafi who put Óscar Olomo’s team ahead with an early goal. However, the joy was short-lived. Just before half-time, in the 44th minute, Valencina leveled the score from a set-piece. After the restart, the visiting team took control of the game and created the clearest chances. The decisive blow came in the 82nd minute, again from a set-piece situation, where Valencina found the winning goal.

After a great start to the season with three victories, Sevilla FC D has now stumbled in its last two outings against the teams at the top of the table. Óscar Olomo’s team will look to get back on track and pick up points again in their next match away to C.A.D. Nervión on November 1st.

Starting XI for Sevilla FC “D”: Mario Rodríguez (C), Parker Byas, Gavyn Nobles, Eduardo Mangles, Fidel Moran, Javier Estévez, David Torres, Abdullah Aljirafi, Man Cruzado, Pablo García, and Borja Tellado.
Players coming off the bench: Pablo Barrios, Pedro Berruezo, Raymond Higham, and Tristan Figueroa.

Five out of five

A 1–4 victory against CD David Castedo, with a brace from Álex Piña and goals by Marcos García and Salva Ballesta. After a tightly contested first half, in which Juvenil “D” missed a penalty and went into halftime with a 1–1 draw, the team managed to recover, double their efforts, and show great character to turn the game around in the second half.

Once again, one of the positives was the participation of Ubaldo Martín, from Cadete “A,” who enjoyed another set of valuable minutes at youth level. On the negative side, Enzo Galbarro was forced off due to injury — we wish him a speedy recovery.

The Sevilla squad consisted of Gonzalo Cuendes, Ben Khamishon, Sebastian Foros, Marcos García, Enzo Galbarro, Antonio Asencio, Daniel Pro, Stefan Mario, Álex Piña, Raúl Martínez, and Alejandro Ruiz. From the bench also took part: Aaron Ang, Fran Correa, Sergio Chacón, Ángel Torres, Salva Ballesta, Lucas Serna, and Ubaldo Martín.

Narrow defeat

Sevilla FC “D” fell 1–0 away to Guillena CF in a hard-fought encounter corresponding to the fourth matchday of the competition. The only goal of the match came in the 29th minute, when the home side capitalized on a set-piece situation to take the lead — the only goal conceded by Sevilla FC “D” so far this season.

Despite missing up to nine regular players, Óscar Olomo’s team maintained the high level shown in the early part of the campaign. During the first half, the Sevillistas created several attacking moves down both flanks and tried to impose their rhythm, though they were unable to find the equalizer.

Beyond the result, the match offered a positive takeaway from a developmental standpoint, with the senior debuts of two youth players, Marcos García and Enzo Galbarro, along with the continued presence of Stefan Mario, who had made his debut the previous week — a clear reflection of the team’s commitment to nurturing young talent within the Sevilla FC Academy structure.

The starting eleven consisted of Sene Mamour; Parker Byas, Marcos García, Edu Mangles, Fidel Morán, Francisco Estévez, David Torres, Manu Cruzado, Pablo García Mateo, Pablo de la Rosa, and Borja Tellado. Substitutes Gavyn Nobles, Raymond Higham, Stefan Mario Roibu, Pedro Berruezo, Enzo Galbarro, and Mario Rodríguez also took part.

With this defeat, Sevilla FC “D” ends its initial run of three consecutive victories but remains in the upper part of the table, continuing to strengthen its competitive and developmental growth process.

This week, no match highlights will be available due to the home team’s refusal to authorize video recording of the game.

Consolidates the lead

Juvenil “D” continues its unstoppable start to the league campaign, delivering a performance to remember this weekend with a 2–14 win over CD Consolación, in a match where the Sevillista team once again displayed ambition, tempo, and efficiency in every area of the pitch.

From the opening minutes, Rafa Ortega’s team imposed its dominance with fast, vertical play. Raúl Martínez opened the scoring in the 6th minute, followed by goals from Salva Ballesta (13’) and Estefan Mario (15’) that quickly set the tone for the match.

Before halftime, Salva added two more (26’ and 28’), while Piña scored the sixth (31’), leaving the game virtually decided. The forward completed a brilliant first half with his fourth goal in the 42nd minute, sending the team into the break with a commanding 2–7 lead.

After the restart, Juvenil “D” maintained its intensity, showing both attacking flair and teamwork. Álex Ruiz (55’), Dani Pro (62’), and an inspired Raúl Martínez, with two more (63’ and 68’), further extended the advantage. Piña struck again in the 72nd, and in the closing stages, Salva Ballesta capped off his spectacular performance with two final goals (88’ and 90’) to seal a historic six-goal haul and a 2–14 victory.

The Sevilla side — Raúl Martínez, Salva Ballesta, Alejandro Ruiz, Estefan Mario, Antonio Asencio, Alejandro Piña, Enzo Galbarro, Sebastián Foros, Ben Khamison, Francisco José Correa, and Aarón Ang — once again showed great collective solidity. Substitutes Gonzalo Cuendes, Daniel Pro, Ubaldo Martín, Marcos García, Marcos Marín, Ángel Torres, and Sergio Chacón also contributed in another strong team display.

With this result, Juvenil “D” remains top of the table with a perfect record (4 out of 4) and a goal difference of 33 for and only 4 against, further consolidating its position as a strong contender at the start of the season.

Our Baby Team Enjoyed the Reyes Cup in Utrera

Excitement, teamwork, and a love for football filled the San Juan Bosco Stadium in Utrera, where our Baby Team was crowned champion of the Reyes Cup Quadrangular, a competition that each year honors the memory of José Antonio Reyes, an eternal example of talent and Sevillismo.

In this fourth edition, sponsored by Jesús Navas, the young Sevillistas delivered an outstanding performance in their first official experience wearing our badge. With smiles and the ball as the true stars, the Academy’s youngest side earned victories over CD Cantera (5–0), EMF Utrera (4–0), and CD Utrera (1–0).

Beyond the results, the participation of these Baby players reflected the essence of the club’s educational project: to teach how to compete with sportsmanship, to enjoy the shared effort, and to live the values of Sevilla FC both on and off the pitch.

The tournament, held on October 10, 11, and 12, also promoted three fundamental pillars: physical health, personal development, and coexistence among young players from different communities. In this environment of learning and friendship, the young champions proudly represented the spirit of the Sevilla FC Academy Antonio Puerta, where every training session is both a football lesson and a life lesson.

The team’s success is also a reflection of the hard work and dedication of its coaching staff, led by Álvaro Cabrera as head coach, Eduardo García as assistant coach, Francisco Díaz as goalkeeping coach, and Manuel Gandul as team delegate. Their daily commitment to teaching, respect, and the all-round development of the players was key to ensuring that the youngest Sevillistas enjoyed such a rewarding experience both on and off the pitch.

The triumph at the Reyes Cup marks another step forward in the growth of these young footballers who, with their commitment and enthusiasm, reminded everyone that being part of Sevilla means believing you can — and proving it; knowing that the future depends on you.

A debut that goes beyond the scoreboard

Friday, October 10, 2025, will be remembered as a milestone in the history of the Sevilla FC Academy, marking the day our team played its first official match in a federated competition in the 7-a-side football category. The match, corresponding to the opening fixture of the Fourth Andalusian League (Group 7), was played at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground, where the side coached by Alejandro Suárez and Eduardo García, with Iván Falce as team delegate, earned a 10–0 victory over CD Mairena.

Beyond the result, this debut held a special meaning for both players and staff. It reflected the daily work, the enthusiasm to keep learning, and the commitment to the values that define Sevilla FC’s youth academy. The squad — Adrián Toronjo, Leo Villalón, Alejandro Lora, Aarón Bernal, Lucas Godoy, Marcos Carmona, and Roque Sánchez-Pobre, together with Martín Caballero, Ramón Santiago, Diego Martínez, Francisco Ortiz, Dylan Augusto, and Leo Pérez — displayed exemplary behavior both on and off the pitch.

At Sevilla FC, this first step is viewed not merely as a sporting achievement, but as an educational experience that promotes self-improvement, effort, continuous growth, teamwork, and respect for the opponent. Because at the Sevilla FC Academy, the true victory lies in shaping people through football — with a clear purpose and a guiding motto: #NeverSurrender
