Salva Ballesta joins U.D. Melilla after an outstanding season with Juvenil “

Salva Ballesta, 17, joined the Sevilla FC Academy setup this season as part of Sevilla FC’s Juvenil “D”, coached by Rafa Ortega. Since his arrival, he has trained under the renowned methodology of the Sevilla youth academy, a development model recognized across Europe for its excellence and ability to nurture talent.

During the current campaign, the young forward has played 13 official league matches, logging significant minutes and proving decisive every time he stepped onto the pitch. His impact was immediate: with 17 goals in just 13 appearances, out of a possible 20, he has become the fifth top scorer in the league and the second highest scorer for the Nervión side.

Juvenil “D” show their strength to extend unbeaten run

Juvenil “D” approached Matchday 20 determined to continue their excellent run of form against Consolación B, who currently sit fourteenth in the standings. Following their dominant 2–14 away win earlier in the season, the Nervión side once again demonstrated their competitiveness at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios.

From the outset, the home side took control of the match, pushing forward with intent in search of the opening goal. Chances came frequently throughout the first half, but a lack of clinical finishing prevented their dominance from being reflected on the scoreboard. Atlético Villanueva repeats its sporting get-together with the Sevilla FC Academy.

On the 10th of february , Atlético Villanueva travelled to the facilities of the Sevilla FC Academy with a total of seven teams, who played several matches against the club’s School sides. The day unfolded in a dynamic and fully educational atmosphere, where learning and shared experiences once again took priority over results.

The matches allowed players to continue gaining valuable experience, reinforcing essential values such as respect, teamwork, effort and fair play, while enjoying football as a tool for personal growth. The participation of such a large number of teams also highlighted Atlético Villanueva’s strong commitment to initiatives of this kind.

With this new visit, the Sevilla FC Academy continues to strengthen its commitment to comprehensive development, fostering relationships between clubs and promoting sports education based on values, coexistence and growth both on and off the pitch.

Juvenil “D” extends its winning streak at the Training Ground

Matchday 18 of the league saw Juvenil “D” face C.D. Mosquito at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground, with the home side aiming to preserve their impressive run of 17 consecutive wins. The Nervión outfit entered the fixture as league leaders, while the visiting team sat in twelfth place.

Odysseas Vlachodimos surprises the Antonio Puerta Academy

On Tuesday, January 20, Odysseas Vlachodimos, goalkeeper of Sevilla FC’s first team, visited the training sessions of the Antonio Puerta Academy after completing his workout with the senior squad, surprising the young players of the Sevilla youth academy.

In addition to spending time with the Academy’s students, the goalkeeper had a very special gesture with one of the youngest teams, joining the “Juanlu” Baby team for a few minutes to play alongside them and leave them with a unique memory of the day.

Vlachodimos’ visit continued with moments of closeness and attention, as the player stopped to take photos and sign autographs for the boys and girls who were waiting outside the 3×3 pitch where the activity was taking place.
