An Incredible Experience

Parker Byas and Gavyn Nobles joined Sevilla FC “D” training sessions last March, and now that the season has ended, they look back on their time at the club.

Parker, a native of Maryland (United States), describes this period as “an absolutely incredible season” in which he was able to “share the locker room with guys from all over the world” and says it was “a pleasure to play for and represent Sevilla FC.” He says he is looking forward to “coming back next season, doing more, and making a greater impact.”

Likewise, central defender Gavyn Nobles believes that his time at Sevilla FC “exceeded his expectations.” He emphasized that everything in the club’s day-to-day operations “seemed great to him,” that he “felt integrated and part of a family from day one” and that he is ready to return to the team next season.

Sevilla FC “D” wraps Up Its First Season

A simple yet emotional event held last week at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium marked the conclusion of Sevilla FC ‘D’s’ inaugural season, which is part of the club’s International High Performance Program. This initiative by the Sevilla FC Academy has been successfully integrated into the club’s competitive structure, completing its first campaign with notable success. The ceremony was attended by general director José González-Dans, official ambassador Pablo Blanco, and first-team striker García Pascual.

All three congratulated the coaching staff and players, who were joined by club employees and family members to close a chapter defined by hard work, progress, and living together in a high-performance environment. Each player was given a team jersey as a lasting memento of being part of the first-ever squad in the team’s history. The event concluded with a final group photo before the players returned to their respective home countries.

This project is part of an exclusive program for players over 18 years of age, combining academic and sports training, high-level coaching sessions, participation in official competitions, and full immersion in professional football culture. Its goal is to enhance the players’ opportunities in the international football market. This first season has helped to expand the Sevilla FC brand across the globe—from north to south, with countries such as Sweden and Nigeria represented, and from east to west, with players hailing from nations like Indonesia and the United States.

Sevilla FC’s commitment to international high-performance development will continue next season, further strengthening its focus on training, global outreach, and the holistic development of talent.

Mamour Sené, news in Diario AS.

Mamour Sené, the Senegalese goalkeeper born in 2005, is one of the stars of the refugee team that will play in the Immigration World Cup, a competition supported by the Sevilla FC Foundation. The club itself offered him the opportunity to train alongside the Sevilla FC D team, although he cannot compete due to issues related to the player’s registration.

Sené arrived in Spain from his hometown, Bargny, with nothing but a pair of goalkeeper gloves. After a dangerous five-day journey on a raft from Morocco to Cádiz, he made it to Spain.

Thanks to the collaboration between the Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR) and the Sevilla FC Foundation, Mamour has found a new opportunity in Spain. He had already stood out in the youth league with the Su Eminencia team, where the Senegalese goalkeeper delivered an outstanding performance, conceding only five goals in 22 matches.

Mamour Sené states that his dream is to play in La Liga.
