Sevilla FC Academy strengthens player development through a new football gathering with JD Bormujos

On February 26, Sevilla FC Academy held a new football development gathering at its facilities, welcoming JD Bormujos as the invited club. The event allowed players from both teams to enjoy what they love most, playing football while continuing to learn and improve their sporting skills.

These initiatives reflect the club’s commitment to promoting the comprehensive development of young players through experiences that combine competition, teamwork, and personal growth. This activity marked the second gathering organized during the same week, reinforcing the Academy’s dedication to grassroots football.

JD Bormujos thus became the third visiting club to take part in these events at the Training Ground, following the recent participation of teams such as Atlético Villanueva, Santiponce, and RC Labradores, further strengthening sporting collaboration between clubs.

During the day, four matches were played between federated teams from both the host and visiting clubs across the U16, U12, U10, and U8 categories, in an atmosphere defined by respect, teamwork, and the educational values of youth football.

Through initiatives like these, Sevilla FC Academy continues to promote environments where football serves as an educational tool, encouraging both the sporting and personal development of young players.

Training gathering between Sevilla FC Academy and Real Círculo de Labradores

The event featured a total of 16 teams, equally divided between both organizations: eight teams from Sevilla FC Academy and eight from Real Círculo de Labradores.

The teams were distributed across the baby, pre-benjamin, benjamin, and youth (infantil) categories, allowing players of different age groups to share a competitive and educational experience. Throughout the event, eight matches were played, scheduled between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

This type of initiative reinforces Sevilla FC Academy’s objective of promoting both the sporting and personal development of young players, encouraging interaction between clubs and learning through play and respect.

Juvenil “D” extends unbeaten run with late equalizer in Dos Hermanas

The Matchday 21 fixture was played in Dos Hermanas at the Pepe Flores Municipal Complex, where David Castedo 3, currently fourth in the league table, hosted a Juvenil “D” side that arrived as league leaders after an outstanding run of 18 wins from 18 matches.

Sevilla began the match determined to impose their rhythm from the opening minutes, reflecting the ambition shown throughout the season. Their strong start paid off in the 19th minute, when Marcos García gave the Nervión side the lead by capitalizing on a rebound following a corner kick.

The advantage was short-lived, however, as the home team equalized just two minutes later, gaining momentum from the goal. Shortly afterward, a defensive control error allowed the opposing striker to complete the turnaround, putting the hosts ahead 2–1 for the first time.

Salva Ballesta joins U.D. Melilla after an outstanding season with Juvenil “

Salva Ballesta, 17, joined the Sevilla FC Academy setup this season as part of Sevilla FC’s Juvenil “D”, coached by Rafa Ortega. Since his arrival, he has trained under the renowned methodology of the Sevilla youth academy, a development model recognized across Europe for its excellence and ability to nurture talent.

During the current campaign, the young forward has played 13 official league matches, logging significant minutes and proving decisive every time he stepped onto the pitch. His impact was immediate: with 17 goals in just 13 appearances, out of a possible 20, he has become the fifth top scorer in the league and the second highest scorer for the Nervión side.

Juvenil “D” approached Matchday 20 determined to continue their excellent run of form against Consolación B, who currently sit fourteenth in the standings. Following their dominant 2–14 away win earlier in the season, the Nervión side once again demonstrated their competitiveness at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios.

From the outset, the home side took control of the match, pushing forward with intent in search of the opening goal. Chances came frequently throughout the first half, but a lack of clinical finishing prevented their dominance from being reflected on the scoreboard. Despite their persistence, the teams went into halftime level at 0–0.

After the restart, Juvenil “D” showed greater precision in the final third. In the 49th minute, Raúl Martínez opened the scoring with a brilliant individual effort, unleashing a powerful long-range strike that nestled into the top corner. The goal paved the way for the hosts.

The second goal arrived in the 65th minute through Alejandro Piña, the league’s top scorer, who once again showcased his goal-scoring instincts to extend the Nervión side’s lead.

Atlético Villanueva repeats its sporting get-together with the Sevilla FC Academy.

On the 10th of february , Atlético Villanueva travelled to the facilities of the Sevilla FC Academy with a total of seven teams, who played several matches against the club’s School sides. The day unfolded in a dynamic and fully educational atmosphere, where learning and shared experiences once again took priority over results.

The matches allowed players to continue gaining valuable experience, reinforcing essential values such as respect, teamwork, effort and fair play, while enjoying football as a tool for personal growth. The participation of such a large number of teams also highlighted Atlético Villanueva’s strong commitment to initiatives of this kind.

With this new visit, the Sevilla FC Academy continues to strengthen its commitment to comprehensive development, fostering relationships between clubs and promoting sports education based on values, coexistence and growth both on and off the pitch.

Juvenil “D” extends its winning streak at the Training Ground

Matchday 18 of the league saw Juvenil “D” face C.D. Mosquito at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground, with the home side aiming to preserve their impressive run of 17 consecutive wins. The Nervión outfit entered the fixture as league leaders, while the visiting team sat in twelfth place.

The match began at an even pace, although Juvenil “D” showed greater attacking intent and created several dangerous chances in the opening stages. The breakthrough came in the 34th minute, when Estefan Mario opened the scoring with a magnificent long-range strike, placed perfectly into the far post beyond the goalkeeper’s reach.

Just two minutes later, in the 36th minute, Hungarian player Áron Németh doubled the lead following a high-quality individual effort, beating several defenders with confidence. However, C.D. Mosquito reduced the deficit just before half-time, scoring in the 45th minute with a close-range finish.

After the break, the visitors managed to level the score from an indirect free kick, awarded after a back pass by the Nervión side. The draw remained until the 71st minute, when Ángel Torres restored Juvenil “D”’s lead with a goal from close range, finishing a well-delivered cross from the flank.

In the closing minutes, the home side sealed the win with two further goals. In the 89th minute, Raúl Martínez struck from outside the box with his weaker foot, and shortly afterwards Alejandro Piña, the team’s top scorer, completed the scoring.
