Sebastián Fineman shines as a goalscore at Sevilla FC D

Sevilla Fútbol Club D continues its strong sporting form, having won its last seven matches in a row. Within the team’s impressive streak under coach Óscar Olomo, one of the standout names is Swedish forward Sebastian Fineman.

The 19-year-old player has scored five goals in the last seven matches, including a brace and an assist in the penultimate game, contributing to three of the team’s six goals in their victory against Colspe. Additionally, Fineman scored in the wins over Villanueva Atlético, AD Carmona, Almensilla, and netted the aforementioned brace.

As a result, Sevilla FC D has gone nine consecutive matches without losing, with eight wins and one draw. This impressive run has propelled the team up the table, placing them third in their group, level on points with the second-placed team.

Students of the Antonio Puerta Football School Visit the Royal Postman

The students of the Antonio Puerta Football School didn’t want to wait and took advantage of the Royal Postman’s first visit to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán to personally deliver their letters to Their Majesties, the Three Wise Men. The children arrived at Sevilla FC’s stadium in age-based groups and received a Sevilla-themed gift from the Royal Postman.

This special gift will be available to everyone who hands in their letters at Gate 2 of the stadium until January 4. Additionally, the Antonio Puerta School students enjoyed the festive attractions set up at the Gol Sur esplanade for Christmas celebrations.

Óscar Olomo Nominated for Best Coach of the 2023-2024 Season at the IV Golsmedia Awards

The Sevilla FC coach has been recognized as the best coach in Group V of the Tercera Federación Femenina for his work during the 2023-2024 season with Sevilla FC B Femenino, where he led the team to a seventh-place finish last season.

Olomo has been a coach at Sevilla FC since 2019, leading the club’s women’s reserve team until 2024. For the 2024-25 season, he took charge of Sevilla FC D, the club’s international team, which is currently competing for promotion while maintaining its developmental focus.

Previously, Óscar Olomo coached at Atlético Libertad, where he managed teams across all age categories from 1999 to 2008. He then moved to CMD San Juan, serving as academy coordinator and head coach of Juvenil A, which he led to promotion to División de Honor, the top tier of Spanish youth football. Before joining Sevilla FC, he also worked at CD Mairena del Alcor and Unión Deportiva Loreto.

The Hispania FA Academy of Puerto Rico participated in the Players Academy program of Sevilla FC

A group of players from the Hispania FA Academy of Puerto Rico participated in an immersive experience through the Players Academy Program, driven by the Sevilla FC Innovation Center.

During their stay, the 19 players, accompanied by a coordinator, two coaches, and a group of parents, had the opportunity to train with the club’s coaches under the Sevilla FC youth academy methodology, enjoying a unique experience that allowed them to delve into the world of elite football.

Additionally, the visitors toured the facilities at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Sports City, gaining insight into the daily operations and inner workings of Sevilla FC. They also had the chance to meet Sevilla Atlético player and Puerto Rican international Leandro Antonetti, who shared his experience in the city. Likewise, Sevilla FC D player Fabián Rodríguez encouraged his fellow countrymen to keep striving for their dream of becoming professionals.

During the training sessions, the players worked on refining their skills and participated in various theoretical sessions designed to enrich their experience with knowledge and a deeper understanding of the professional football world.

The program also included attending a LaLiga match at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, where the Puerto Rican visitors had the chance to experience the stadium’s vibrant atmosphere and the high level of competition in Spanish football.

The Hispania FF Academy from Puerto Rico participated in the Players Academy of Sevilla FC

Between November 25 and 28, the Sevilla FC Innovation Center hosted a group of players from the Hispania FA Academy in Puerto Rico, who participated in an immersive experience through the Players Academy Program.

During their stay, the 19 players, accompanied by a coordinator, two coaches, and a group of parents, had the opportunity to train under the methodology of Sevilla FC’s youth academy, enjoying a unique experience immersed in the world of elite football.

Additionally, the visitors toured the facilities of the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Sports City, gaining an in-depth understanding of the club’s operations and sporting methodology. They also participated in training sessions with Sevilla FC coaches to enhance their skills.

Moreover, various talks and presentations were held to enrich the visitors’ experience with knowledge and learning. The program also included a special day featuring attendance at the Sevilla FC vs. Rayo Vallecano match during the 14th round of LALIGA, where they had the chance to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium live.
