Óscar Olomo’s side secured a 4-1 victory at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios, with David Castro and Sergio Domínguez both scoring twice, to maintain their place at the top of the table with a perfect record

Sevilla FC D hosted Triaca on Sunday, 11 October, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios in the fourth matchday of the league campaign. The visitors arrived in third place, having recorded two wins and a draw, while Óscar Olomo’s side entered the fixture on the back of three consecutive victories, with 19 goals scored and none conceded.

The match got off to a difficult start for the home side, who conceded their first goal of the season in the third minute. However, Sevilla FC D responded positively and gradually rediscovered the qualities that had characterised their strong start to the campaign, with a direct, vertical style of play and quick passing.

The home side’s persistence paid off in the 24th minute, when David Castro levelled the score with a low, angled finish into the far corner. Just seconds later, the same player found the net again to complete the comeback and put Sevilla FC D ahead. With the lead secured, the hosts settled into the game and maintained their approach until half-time.

After the break, Sevilla FC D looked to extend their advantage and put the result beyond doubt. David Castro had a chance in the 49th minute, although his effort went wide. Triaca also came close to equalising in the 66th minute, when a set-piece opportunity narrowly missed the target.

However, Sevilla FC D eventually put the game out of reach in the closing stages. In the 78th minute, Sergio Domínguez made an incisive run down the left flank before bearing down on the goalkeeper and scoring his side’s third goal. The same player struck again in the 89th minute to seal the 4-1 victory and complete his brace.

With this result, Sevilla FC D move on to 12 points from a possible 12, extending their winning run at the start of the season. The team also retain top spot in the league on goal difference, with 23 goals scored and just one conceded across the first four matchdays, underlining their attacking threat and defensive solidity.
