Sevilla “D” secure convincing victory over Marlex International at the training ground

The Sevilla side delivers a solid and efficient performance in a friendly match that boosts confidence ahead of league competition

On March 19, the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios hosted a friendly match between Sevilla FC “D” and Marlex International, providing the Sevilla side with another opportunity to continue strengthening its competitive development.

From the opening whistle, Sevilla D displayed a clear attacking approach and control of the game, creating several dangerous chances in the opposition’s area. The team registered four clear goal-scoring opportunities within the first twenty minutes, although they were unable to convert.

The visitors responded in the 23rd minute with a chance that was confidently dealt with by goalkeeper Mario Rodríguez, who kept the score level.

Towards the end of the first half, the home side increased their intensity and were rewarded. First, through a major chance by Eduardo Mangles, whose one-on-one effort narrowly missed the target. Shortly after, just before halftime, Sevilla D took the lead following an unfortunate defensive clearance, which resulted in an own goal.

After the break, Sevilla D stepped up their performance, showing greater solidity both defensively and offensively. The team successfully neutralized the opponent’s attacking efforts while improving their efficiency in front of goal.

In the 63rd minute, Kohen Caminiti doubled the lead by converting a corner kick, scoring the second goal of the match. In the closing stages, Sevilla D confirmed their dominance with a third goal, sealing a convincing 3–0 victory.

This win allows Sevilla D to build confidence and positive momentum ahead of their next league fixture, scheduled for Sunday, March 22, against El Ronquillo.
