Rafa Ortega’s side claimed an away victory thanks to a goal from Pedro Marun and an own goal from the hosts, extending their positive run in the league

Sevilla FC Juvenil D faced Arahal Balompié away from home on matchday six of the league campaign. The hosts arrived in ninth place with six points, having recorded both of their victories that season on home soil. Meanwhile, the Nervión-based side were looking to maintain their positive form and continue collecting points near the top of the table.

The match got underway with Juvenil D determined to threaten the opposition goal. In the 11th minute, Manuel Alarcón created the first clear-cut opportunity after making the most of a pass in behind the defence. His shot forced the home goalkeeper into an excellent save to keep the score level.

However, the resulting rebound led to a corner, and the Sevilla side capitalised on the set-piece to take the lead. Pedro Marun finished confidently to make it 0-1.

Juvenil D continued to look for a second goal and doubled their advantage in the 24th minute. Javier Geniz attempted to find the Sevilla forward with a through ball, which was intercepted by a defender looking to pass back to his goalkeeper. The goalkeeper was unable to control the ball, and it ended up in his own net to make it 0-2.

With a two-goal advantage, Rafa Ortega’s side began to manage possession more calmly, reducing their attacking intensity while maintaining control of the match. With no further significant chances before the break, both teams headed into half-time with Sevilla holding a comfortable lead.

After the restart, Arahal Balompié tried to reduce the deficit and created a few attacking opportunities, although their efforts failed to find the target. Juvenil D, meanwhile, looked to extend their advantage and put the result beyond doubt. The clearest chance of the second half came in the 87th minute, when Roberto Bernárdez struck the post with a shot from outside the box.

The score remained unchanged until the final whistle, as Sevilla FC Juvenil D secured a 0-2 away victory, built on their first-half efficiency and their ability to manage the game after the break. Another important win for Rafa Ortega’s side, who continue to collect points and maintain their positive form in the league.
