Matchday 18 of the league saw Juvenil “D” face C.D. Mosquito at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground, with the home side aiming to preserve their impressive run of 17 consecutive wins. The Nervión outfit entered the fixture as league leaders, while the visiting team sat in twelfth place.

The match began at an even pace, although Juvenil “D” showed greater attacking intent and created several dangerous chances in the opening stages. The breakthrough came in the 34th minute, when Estefan Mario opened the scoring with a magnificent long-range strike, placed perfectly into the far post beyond the goalkeeper’s reach.

Just two minutes later, in the 36th minute, Hungarian player Áron Németh doubled the lead following a high-quality individual effort, beating several defenders with confidence. However, C.D. Mosquito reduced the deficit just before half-time, scoring in the 45th minute with a close-range finish.

After the break, the visitors managed to level the score from an indirect free kick, awarded after a back pass by the Nervión side. The draw remained until the 71st minute, when Ángel Torres restored Juvenil “D”’s lead with a goal from close range, finishing a well-delivered cross from the flank.

In the closing minutes, the home side sealed the win with two further goals. In the 89th minute, Raúl Martínez struck from outside the box with his weaker foot, and shortly afterwards Alejandro Piña, the team’s top scorer, completed the scoring.
