Mexican player Diego Díez joins Sevilla FC D
The 18-year-old joins the club’s international team and is already training under the guidance of Óscar Olomo
Sevilla Football Club D, the international team of the entity, has added Mexican player Diego Díez to its roster. The 18-year-old plays as an attacking midfielder and second striker and has already been training under the guidance of Óscar Olomo for several days.
The player himself expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to defend the badge and wear the colors of Sevilla FC. “Training here and being able to represent this club means a lot to me both on a football and personal level. Since I was a child, I have really liked the Sevilla anthem, and the fact that Sergio Ramos came from here.”
On the sporting side, Díez describes himself as a “skillful and quick” player and elaborates on the differences between Mexican and Spanish football: “It’s very different. In Mexico, football is played in a way that could be described as more street-style, whereas here the ball is moved around more, and honestly, I like that a lot.”
