Agreement with Hispania FA for the development of football in Puerto Rico and USA
Sevilla FC Academy and Hispania FA sign a collaboration agreement for the joint development of football in Puerto Rico and the United States
Hispania FF is an organization committed to the development of football through the training of players and coaches in Puerto Rico and the United States. Furthermore, they have been working for years to transfer the training methodologies and development of professional coaches from Spanish football to the destinations where they operate. It is for this reason that Hispania FF and Sevilla FC have now formed an alliance to enhance this training strategy in the aforementioned territories.
Hispania FA is already familiar with Sevilla FC’s working methodology, having previously visited the club’s facilities to train their players under the Players Academy program. This is a program through which athletes visit Seville to train under the methodology of Sevilla FC and a team of the club’s specialized coaches for periods of 7 to 10 days.
The club maintains its firm commitment to “Boricua” talent. Several players from Puerto Rico have already come through its academy, such as Antonetti, the captain of the national team, who was in Sevilla Atlético last season. This season, it is Alejandro Almenas and Fabián Rodríguez, who was already here last year, who are defending the Puerto Rican flag, in this case, for Sevilla FC “D”.
