The Club

Sevilla FC is the oldest professional football club in Spain, founded in 1890

On January 25 of that year, it was founded as a private cultural and sports association. The club was officially registered on October 14, 1905, to comply with changes in legislation.

Sevilla FC has been the most successful club in Andalusia, with 73 seasons in La Liga and 14 national and international titles, including a La Liga title, Copa del Rey trophies, UEFA Europa League titles, a UEFA Super Cup, and a Spanish Super Cup.

Sevilla FC ranks sixth in the all-time La Liga table and is the fifth club in terms of international titles, only behind Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Valencia CF, and Atlético de Madrid. Sevilla FC was recognized as the best team in the world in 2006 and 2007 by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).
