Sevilla FC Academy and CSD Vistazul take part in a new community matchday at the Training Ground
Sevilla FC Academy held a new community matchday last Monday, April 20th, together with CSD Vistazul at the training ground, reaffirming its commitment to the comprehensive development of young players through sport, teamwork and the core values of grassroots football
The Training Ground hosted another afternoon of developmental football, where players from Sevilla FC Academy and CSD Vistazul shared an experience focused on learning and strengthening ties between clubs.
During the event, a total of five matches were played across different academy age groups: one baby category match, with dimensions adapted to the age of the participants; one benjamín fixture; two alevín matches, both in a 7-a-side format; and one infantil game, played in an 11-a-side format.
All matches took place in an atmosphere defined by respect, sportsmanship and the enthusiasm of the youngest players, who continued their growth both on and off the pitch in an ideal environment for their development.
These types of initiatives reinforce Sevilla FC Academy’s commitment to providing enriching experiences for its players, promoting relationships between sporting institutions and using football as a highly valuable educational tool.
