Juvenil D secure late victory over Rociera
A late goal by Daniel Pro decided a closely contested matchday 22 clash against Rociera, allowing Juvenil D to consolidate their position at the top of the standings
Today’s fixture corresponded to matchday 22 of the league, featuring Juvenil D and Rociera at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground, in a matchup between the first and fourth-placed teams in the table. In the reverse fixture, the Sevilla side had already claimed a dramatic 2–3 victory, scoring in the final minute.
The match began with Rociera showing early intensity, creating the first chances of the game during the opening minutes. The visiting side produced two dangerous opportunities before Juvenil D gradually settled into the match, beginning to impose their possession-based and attacking style of play.
As the first half progressed, the home side gained control and started generating danger around the opposition’s penalty area, mainly through long-range efforts. The clearest opportunity came just before halftime when Estefan Mario struck a powerful shot from outside the box that hit the right post. Juvenil D registered eight attempts in the first half but were unable to convert their chances.
After the break, the pattern of the match remained unchanged. Estefan Mario again came close to scoring with an effort that narrowly missed the post. The team maintained a high competitive tempo, persistently searching for the opening goal, including another attempt by Áron Németh that went just wide.
The home side’s persistence was finally rewarded in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Pro scored from a corner kick to put Juvenil D ahead on the scoreboard. Shortly afterward, Raúl Martínez had an opportunity to extend the lead, but the visiting goalkeeper made an important save.
With this victory, Juvenil D claim three valuable points in a demanding match and reinforce their position as league leaders, demonstrating composure, consistency, and competitive maturity.
