Zach Bluestone, a new right-back for Juvenil “D”
American footballer Zach Bluestone joins Juvenil “D” for the 2025/26 season, arriving from FC Bayern Munich, where he was part of the German club’s Global Academy for two seasons
Born on August 23, 2007 in the United States, Bluestone (1.72 m, right-footed) plays primarily as a right-back, standing out for his versatility, tactical awareness, and competitive discipline. With Bayern, he appeared in various positions—mainly as a holding midfielder (#6)—and was one of only six players invited to return to Munich for the 2024/25 season under the guidance of Klaus Augenthaler, former German international and World Cup champion.
Before his time in Germany, he developed at United Futbol Academy (UFA) and within the E64 program of the U.S. Soccer Federation, gaining international experience in tournaments held in Italy, Portugal, Germany, and Spain. Academically, Bluestone graduated from ASU Preparatory Academy (Arizona) with a 3.83 GPA, earning recognition as part of the Georgia Presidential Scholars Program.
At Sevilla FC, Bluestone will continue his growth within the club’s renowned 360º Development Methodology, a high-performance program that integrates technical, tactical, and physical work with education, nutrition, and psychological preparation—all within the elite environment of the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios, one of Europe’s most advanced training facilities.
Sevilla FC welcomes Zach Bluestone and wishes him every success in this new stage of his athletic and academic journey.
